This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the guidelines and procedures for refunds and cancellations of services on MimicDance (https://mimicdance.com). Please read this policy carefully before making any purchase on our platform.

Refund Eligibility

No Refunds Policy

All payments made for video generation services on MimicDance are final and non-refundable. Once a payment is processed and a video generation is initiated, we do not provide refunds under any circumstances from our end. This is because our service involves immediate consumption of AI computing resources upon initiation of a generation request.

Our video generation service is non-refundable and non-cancellable once payment has been processed. By making a payment, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • All sales are final and no refunds will be issued by MimicDance
  • The service is a digital product that is consumed immediately upon purchase
  • AI computing resources are allocated and consumed upon generation initiation
  • Dissatisfaction with the output quality does not qualify for a refund

Refund Timeframes

Since our policy is non-refundable, no refund timeframes apply from MimicDance's end. However, in cases of bank or payment provider issues (as described below), the following timeframes apply:

UPI

Refund by bank/provider within 5-7 business days

Net Banking

Refund by bank within 7-10 business days

Credit Card

Refund by bank within 7-14 business days

Debit Card

Refund by bank within 7-14 business days

Wallet

Refund by provider within 5-7 business days

Bank/Payment Provider Issues

In the event of any issues arising from your bank or payment provider's side (such as transaction failures, duplicate charges due to bank errors, or other payment processing issues not caused by MimicDance), any refunds will be processed by your respective bank or payment provider. These include:

  • Duplicate charges: If your bank charges you twice for the same transaction due to a processing error, please contact your bank directly for reversal.
  • Failed transactions with deducted amount: If your payment was deducted but the transaction failed on our end (no generation was initiated), the amount will be automatically refunded by the payment gateway within 5-7 business days.
  • Payment gateway errors: Any errors occurring at the payment gateway level will be handled by the payment provider (PhonePe/Razorpay) as per their policies.

Processing Time: Refunds initiated by banks or payment providers typically take 7-14 business days to reflect in your account, depending on your bank and the payment method used.

Refund/Return Request Process

While we do not offer refunds, if you believe there has been an error with your transaction, you may contact us through the following process:

  1. Email us at support@mimicdance.com with your transaction ID, registered email address, and a description of the issue.
  2. Our team will review your request within 24-48 hours on business days.
  3. If the issue is on our end (e.g., payment deducted but no generation initiated due to server error), we will either initiate the generation or provide a service credit for future use.
  4. If the issue is on the bank/payment provider's end, we will guide you on how to contact them for resolution.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of service is not possible once a payment has been made and a video generation has been initiated. This is because:

  • Our AI video generation process begins immediately upon payment confirmation
  • Computing resources are allocated and consumed in real-time
  • The generation process cannot be reversed once started

Before payment: You may cancel at any time before making the payment by simply closing the payment modal. No charges will be applied.

After payment: No cancellations or refunds are possible. The generation will proceed and the output will be delivered to your account.

Cancellation fees: There are no cancellation fees as cancellation is not applicable after payment. Before payment, there are no charges.

Failed Generations

If a generation fails due to a technical error on our servers (not due to invalid input from the user), we will provide a service credit equivalent to the amount paid so you can attempt the generation again. This is not a monetary refund but a credit for future use on our platform. To claim a service credit for a failed generation, please contact us at support@mimicdance.com with your transaction ID and details of the failure.

Before You Purchase

Since all purchases are final and non-refundable, we strongly encourage all users to:

  • Review sample generations on our platform to understand the output quality
  • Ensure you have uploaded high-quality images for best results
  • Understand that AI-generated content may vary based on input quality
  • Verify your payment details before confirming the transaction
  • Read and understand this refund policy in full before making a purchase
